Tanganyika Ancient Routes Ltd was developed by owner and founder Charles Mpanda who blazed a trail on Tanzania safari’s in the mid 90’s when he successfully completed his education at the travel industry college.  His extensive background in the tourism industry Charles saw the potential of his knowledge, human relation skills and most important his love of Tanzania to give his clients the absolute best safari they could dream possible.

Charles and his team grew quickly and by 2007 developed a multi-faceted safari company.  His focus and vision has always remained to be sure the client has the best trip possible.  He strives to provide education about the country, its people and the animals; he practices responsible tourism and gives his clients as much care as possible with each safari.

Our teams of product developers and African Safari Travel Experts travel to all our key destinations in the Southern, Western and Northern circuits as well as the Indian Ocean Islands of Tanzania.  These teams regularly frequent the hotels, lodges and excursions’ making sure everything is 100% satisfactory for you our client.
